Summary
     “...Sawamura-kun?”
The boy in question looked at them, smiling sheepishly as another
drop slid down his hair to stay suspended at the tip, swaying
dangerously as it prepared to splatter on the floor.
The five times Miyuki teased Sawamura, and the one time he praised
     him. >:D

***** Chapter 1 *****
1.
For golden week, they’d won all the practice games scheduled. Their batters had
performed better than ever, and some had even hit home runs against the weaker
schools.
One out of the nine games was particularly memorable.
They’d won it, with their chosen pitcher – Sawamura – getting loads of strikes.
The other team had only managed to get one run before the game was called at
the seventh inning, while they themselves scored eleven.
It was a pretty common occurrence for Seidou High School to win. By now, people
acknowledged them as one of the stronger teams of Tokyo, and as a result, they
had many offers for practice games, both home and away. They’d lost some, but
won many more, so it wasn’t as if they’d never had a good game. Winning was
ordinary.
What, however, was not common was the source of two of their runs.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, with Seidou batting, when the announcer
called out the batter’s name, no one expected anything. With five runs already,
from the first three innings, they knew that they had a good chance of winning.
Whatever they lost in this inning would be covered up in the remaining.
“You just conserve your strength for the rest of the innings. Coach said you
can pitch all of them, and we don’t need you getting subbed out because you
broke your arm trying to hit the ball.”
“Yeah, don’t worry about getting any runs here, we’ll just make up for whatever
you don’t get in this inning, in the next five. You’ve got reliable teammates,
just go and annoy the pitcher with your loudness.”
Dammit.
Sawamura was the one who was annoyed.
He knew that they weren’t wrong in their assessment of him. After all, he did
know that he couldn’t score runs like the rest of the players did. It was still
very disheartening to hear it from them, and that too so casually as if they
expected him to get nothing.
They did tell him to bunt, and he realised that he was quite good at it,
considering how many of his kouhai had already begged him to teach them –
honestly, they were the only ones who knew his worth, except for Okumura.
Bunting was a good way to get the game in their favour. His teammates could
advance to the next base while he himself got out. But really, it was a matter
of pride. All the other pitchers that he knew – his own teammates, Narumiya,
that cocky guy from Teiko, Amahisa – were good at both pitching and batting.
He didn’t want to be That Pitcher Who Only Knows How To Bunt While Batting.
So, when the first pitch was thrown his way, he swung his bat.
…“Strike!”
Oops.
He readjusted his grip on his bat and waited for the second ball.
It was slow – slower than the rest of the balls that the pitcher had thrown
that day. He could probably hit it if it continued with the same speed. It
didn’t look like it would be changing its course drastically, although it would
curve. With that, Sawamura had made his decision. He would swing again
completely, not allowing the ball to escape and land in the hands of the
catcher next to him.
The only catcher who was going to be catching any balls today was Miyuki.
…Why did he have to be reminded of that guy now? He was one of the people who
had laughed when the rest had told him to take it easy, even though he’d patted
Sawamura’s back with his mitt.
Heck, no point thinking of that now. He was going to show everyone how Sawamura
Eijun batted, and when they did see, he would laugh at their awestruck faces.
Especially Miyuki.
He watched the ball arc towards him, his surroundings whiting out, noise
fading, the only thing he could see being the ball. It glinted under the
sunlight, beginning its dip and he flexed his fingers around his bat, waiting
as it came closer.
He could see it in his head. His bat would connect with the ball solidly, the
satisfying sound of bat hitting ball resounding through the field. The ball
would whiz past the players as it dove to right field, and no one would be able
to stop him as he scored a –
“Strike!”
Eijun stared wide eyed at the catcher behind him, the ball tucked away into his
glove as he held it up. He caught Sawamura’s look, and smirked.
Seidou sighed collectively as their pitcher stomped his foot, before assuring
them again that he would definitely hit the ball next time.
“We know you can’t, Bakamura! Why don’t you just come back soon so we can have
our turn? And try not to embarrass us, even though it’s a monumental task!”
With this, the other team was gaining confidence. The guy who’d only let them
get one run was this bad at batting? Maybe they still had a chance. Seidou was
just up by four runs, they could still catch up! They still had five innings
left for their offense.
Sawamura was livid.
Why, why was it that he could never score even a single run in a game? It had
become a habit for the audience and his teammates in the dugout to look
uninterested when he was at bat. As if they already knew what would happen.
They expected him to strike out. Was he thatbad? No.
He was contemplating his next course of action, when his captain called out his
name. He turned, ready to shout at the catcher for breaking his concentration.
His words died in his mouth when he realised what was happening.
Miyuki Kazuya grinned at him and nodded once, holding up a finger.
He didn’t have to say anything. The pitcher would blindly follow anything his
senpai asked of him on the field, and even when batting, it wasn’t any
different.
Calm down. Miyuki-senpai believes in you. You don’t have to prove your worth to
anyone else here.
Sawamura inhaled deeply. It was insanely embarrassing, but if it benefited
Seidou, then he wouldn’t complain. He shifted his stance, changing his grip
around his bat.
People murmured, while his teammates at the bases cackled loudly (namely:
Kuramochi).
He was going to bunt.
He waited for the third pitch, not unaware of how the enemy catcher was glaring
at him. Good, get unnerved. Wasn’t there something that Miyuki had once said
about the catcher psyche? If you made them nervous enough, they would give the
wrong calls, and if the pitcher wasn’t intelligent or bold enough to refuse,
he’d actually pitch it.
How was Miyuki so smart and evil?
…“Ball!”
A small smile made its way onto his face. He could do this.
“The batter’s still cornered, Noya!” the other team’s members shouted, “One
more strike, and he’s out!”
The pitcher nodded. This was the guy who’d not let them score. There was no way
he was going to let him get a run.
He looked to his catcher for the next order, and Sawamura almost pitied him.
But pity wouldn’t make him get a run. It was both Sawamura’s pride, and
Miyuki’s faith in him, that he had riding on his shoulders now. He couldn’t get
soft now.
Noya threw the ball.
Sawamura swung his bat.
And it became a two-run RBI.
After that, with his teammates so elated with his batting, it had been easy to
get four more runs, setting the game at 11-1, called at seven innings.
The other team couldn’t do anything but frown and Sawamura couldn’t stop
flailing. He did stop for a second to look apologetically at Noya though. Out
of the game, he felt bad for the pitcher, but he understood that such feelings
wouldn’t get him anywhere. He had to trust Miyuki completely, as his catcher
and captain. It was actually quite a good thing that Noya trusted his catcher
as well.
Speaking of Miyuki…
Sawamura was fine with being the That Pitcher Who Only Knows How To Bunt While
Batting, if it meant –
“Miyuki Kazuya!” He said in the evening, tailing the captain and screaming in
his ear, “Don’t you have to say anything to the kouhai who performed so
splendidly today?”
Kuramochi introduced his foot to Sawamura’s butt, but the pitcher wasn’t
deterred. Kuramochi could kick him all he wanted, if that meant he’d stay and
by extension, so would Miyuki. “Tell me how awesome I was, Miyuki Kazuyaaa!”
Miyuki stopped. Propelled further from Kuramochi’s lovely gift, Sawamura ran
right into him.
His shoulders shook, and he was dead silent for half a minute, before a loud
cackling filled the air. “Sawamura, you idiot,” Miyuki gasped, laughing hard,
“Are you expecting me to praise you for getting two runs, something that
everyone does on a daily basis?”
“Well, yes.” Sawamura grumbled, hints of a pout beginning to form.
“About time!” He snorted. Then, he spoke again, softer this time. “I guess it
is a big achievement for you. I’m proud of you.”
Sawamura’s head snapped up, eyes impossibly wide. Was Miyuki – God.
Was Miyuki actually happy with how he’d performed? He stayed quiet for a
minute, afraid that his voice would only come out garbled from tears, or worse,
he might choke. Calming himself down as much as he could, he opened his mouth
to ask what Miyuki thought about–
“Though I must ask what it was that made you relax after those two strikes. You
seemed… very relaxed.”
An eyebrow wiggled.
All the air left him.

2.
Kanemaru refused to help him study. “Why the heck should I spend my time
teaching your stupid brain things when I can practice my swing?” He said,
rolling his eyes at Sawamura’s sad face.
Then a certain manager offered to help the pitcher out, and all of a sudden,
Kanemaru was very keen to tutor him as well.
“Yoshikawa-san! What should I do to learn all of this?”
“Um, you know… sometimes when things are aesthetically pleasing they’re easier
to understand. Textbooks can get quite monotonous. Maybe you can use
highlighters? I like using them, they make things bright!”
Sawamura tilted his head. “Highlighters?”
Kanemaru butted in, “Baka, you don’t even know what those are?” Yoshikawa
laughed, and Kanemaru casually turned red.
Eijun didn’t pay attention. He needed to pass. And, so it was clear, he did
know what highlighters were.
“So, I buy markers and decorate my notes as much as I can, and how I like, so
that I can focus?”
Yoshikawa nodded, smiling. “I can lend you mine for some time if you need help,
but otherwise I don’t think I have much else to say in that regard. And if you
need help studying both Kanemaru-kun and I will help you with any topic.”
Kanemaru nodded very vigorously, and Sawamura just could not resist asking,
“Didn’t you have to practice your swings?”
He got a smack for his troubles. “Just put away all your shoujo manga for some
time and read textbooks.”
                                       *
It’d been a few days since he’d said goodbye to his beautiful manga
temporarily, and Sawamura was suffering.
But he had to work hard enough to show everyone that he wasn’t just great at
pitching. No matter what Miyuki said. Actually… when was the last time Miyuki
even told him he was good?
Ah, Miyuki-senpai.
Shit.
His cheeks coloured as he remembered his captain’s annoyingly attractive face.
Eh? Eh? No, no, no. Noooo. Miyuki was not attractive. Most people thought he
was, but they were stupid! Sawamura shouldn’t be echoing their opinions, he was
supposed to have his own.
Miyuki was arrogant, rude, mean, evil, annoying, and –
The best catcher ever.
His head thumped against his desk, and he huffed. He wanted to throw. A lot of
balls. Into Miyuki’s mitt.
Now why did that sound so wrong? Guh, he was supposed to be studying so he
wouldn’t fail. If he failed, he wouldn’t get to play. No marks, no Miyuki.
Or was it no Miyuki, no marks? No, that didn’t make sense, at least in this
scenario. Ah, that sounded bad.
He picked up his pen, doodling little baseballs at the corners of the page.
Decorations could be of any kind, right? Creativity and all that crap? So what
if he wanted to draw baseballs. Next came bats! Tiny, tiny cute bats.
Hm… Was a mitt too obvious? He wanted to draw it, but he didn’t want Kuramochi
sneakily seeing it and assuming things. No way, everyone used mitts! Mitts
weren’t suspicious! He could draw all the mitts that he wanted.
“Heeeh, what are you doing, Sa-wa-mu-ra~?” was breathed into his ear. He
shrieked, his chair clattering to the ground as he jumped up and spun around.
Fucking Miyuki Kazuya stood there grinning like the damn Cheshire cat.
“M-Miyuki-senpai! Why are you here?!” he demanded, heart still thudding in his
chest. “Are you here to spy on me? Did Kanemaru send you here to distract me
from my studies? I won’t be distracted!”
His senpai walked around and sat down on another chair, resting his hands on
the table, and his chin on them. “Who said I’m here to do that? If you get
distracted, it’s all on you.”
Sawamura growled, irritated.
“Do you get distracted because of me?”
Sawamura almost retorted, but there was something in Miyuki’s eyes that made
him freeze. Mouth open, he stared blankly at his captain, unable to utter a
single word.
And then, Miyuki got up, patted his shoulder and walked off, whistling.
                                       *
Sawamura had crammed as much as he could in his head, which, wasn’t that hard,
quite honestly. Just because he wasn’t the most serious of people and didn’t
pay attention in class didn’t mean he was stupid.
(Many would disagree. He’d just have to prove them wrong.)
In their midterms, Sawamura did way better than Kanemaru had expected.
“Wamuraaa!!! I can’t believe it! You stupid genius!”
“What do you mean, ‘stupid genius?!’” Sawamura squawked, offended.
“Nothing, nothing! I’m so proud! This was worth helping your loud, idiotic self
study!”
Eijun was an angel, so he didn’t point out that Kanemaru had mostly done it for
Yoshikawa, who looked equally happy with his results. Furuya was snoozing, his
37/100 paper lying proudly atop his desk. Poor boy would have to retake the
exam, he thought, giggling evilly. He could imagine Coach’s pissed look when
he’d see Furuya’s marks, and his utterly surprised one when he got to
Sawamura’s results. Would he let him pitch more?
He gathered his papers, and then walked out of class, whistling.
Sawamura went to the third years’ corridor, brandishing his sheets and looking
for Miyuki’s class. When he finally reached his destination, he put the sheets
on his captain’s desk reverently, expecting a compliment. But Miyuki never
failed to dash his hopes.
“What’s this, Sawamura? You are happy with this? Three in the sixties, and one
in the eighties? Nice. But, what’s with this paper? 43? Really? This is barely
passing.”
Sawamura bristled.
Miyuki smirked, “I know, I know, I should be happy. But I’m just concerned for
my kouhai, you know? If you think there’s no need for further improvement
you’re just going to dig your own grave. Why is it that you can never focus in
class, hmm?”
Miyuki was concerned for him? Eijun’s back straightened unconsciously, cheeks
faintly colouring as he stared at his captain, touched.
“Are you too busy thinking of things thatonly you know?”
What.
Kuramochi, who’d been napping at the seat in front of Miyuki’s, chose that
moment to wake up, cackling at Sawamura’s dumbfounded expression.
“You don’t want marks?”
Against his better judgement, Eijun mumbled, “I don’t want th-these marks.”
Wait, had he accidentally stumbled over the word ‘these?’ He hadn’t meant to.
Kuramochi wasn’t expecting it either, judging by the way he ceased his hyena
laugh and stared at him wordlessly.
Miyuki leaned forward on his desk, a hand propping up his chin and the other
pushing away his hair, “What sorts of marks doyou want to get, hm?”
Eijun didn’t go to the third years’ corridor for a long time after that.

3.
On a rare day off from practice, the team went out. It was supposed to be an
outing for fun, they were allowed to do what they wanted, go where they wanted.
Coach and the rest of the adults had asked them to cool down, spend their time
doing something other than sports.
Ah, but considering who they were, some of them ended up in a sports store.
Haruichi tried various bats, the pink haired kid smart enough to think of
buying a reserve bat to use when if his current one broke suddenly during a
game. Miyuki was somewhere probably spreading his evilness. He was in the same
store, that’s all Sawamura knew.
The pitcher was just casually walking around with Kariba – dear, sweet Kariba,
a lovely person, unlike a certain catcher – observing the store. Quite frankly,
he was interested in the equipment for other sports, even though his heart
belonged to baseball.
“I wonder what I’d do if I didn’t play baseball?” Kariba mused, and Eijun
laughed, “Probably wish you played baseball!”
“I don’t know, I just think… there are so many people that we know who play
baseball. What if they played different sports? How weird would that be?”
“Miyuki Kazuya should be a cyclist. He’d fit right in with the evil kids from
Hiroshima.” He mumbled to himself, embarrassed when his friend heard him.
“What?” Kariba tilted his head, and Sawamura blushed. Okay, he read manga,
don’t judge. So what if he read manga about cyclists?
An obnoxious laughter rang out, and Sawamura growled, miffed. That stupid
captain… wasn’t the one laughing, for once. Well, that was confusing.
“Baseball, huh?”
Sawamura looked around, trying figure out who was speaking, and his eyes fell
on a very bright guy. His clothes, too glittery and full of sequins, reflected
the afternoon sun’s light right into Eijun’s eye.
“Huh? Yeah, baseball.” said the guy next to him, and Sawamura squinted. It was
Miyuki Kazuya. Eijun kept observing, totally not cursing him for being so
confident and annoying and h - yeah, the sun was shining pretty badly. Sawamura
was sweating.
The stranger noticed the others looking over, and grinned, teeth bared as his
lip curled, “You all here on a group date?”
Who would go on a date with Miyuki? Kariba seemed to find Eijun’s muttering
quite amusing.
Miyuki too seemed amused for reasons unknown, smiling as if the shiny guy’s
question was very funny, “What makes you think that?”
“Hm? Easy enough. I bet y’all are faggots who say they play baseball under the
pretense of catching and pitching each other’s balls. Coming out to a store and
walking hand in hand - ” he gestured to Kariba and him, and Eijun’s eyes
widened with incredulity. Because, no, Kariba wasn’t holding his hand… And what
was that about… faggots? Did he hear the word right?
The guy looked him up and down, and Sawamura’s eye twitched. “Bet he doesn’t
even know how to hold a ball.”
“He throws good balls, I’d know. I’m his catcher, you know?” Miyuki smirked,
and Sawamura almost glared at him. Almost. Because, hey, it wasn’t every day
that Miyuki Kazuya complimented him, and that too to defend him. Glaring at
that smirk would be rude.
“Catcher. So you are the receiver, eh? The one who takes it up the ass for this
loser.”
Ah.
Ah.
That’swhat the guy had meant all along.
Sawamura scanned the shelves. Miyuki was saying something in response to the
asshole’s allegation, but Eijun was too busy looking for his gem. Wasn’t there
supposed to be a stray lying around? One of those test pieces that shops kept
to attract customers? He nudged some of the packed items aside, the packaging
crinkling, and thumped the shelf victoriously when he found what he wanted.
Digging the unpacked ball out, he held it up.
Adjusting his grip, he envisioned his target, and threw with all his might.
The ball hit Mr. Bright square in the stomach.
The guy doubled up, wheezing, letting out a sound of pain which was actually a
lot gayer than anything Miyuki might ever have done with anyone. Not that it
was Sawamura’s business. Why would he care if Miyuki had a boyfriend? He was
only angry because he couldn’t tease his senpai about it, not because he was
curious or anything...
“Eijun-kun!” Harucchi gasped, and Eijun looked back at him.
His friend had an incredulous look on his face, and Sawamura smiled sheepishly
as he realised he’d forgotten where they were. He laughed loudly, and shouted
the usual.
“Balls will go flying, so thank you for defending!”
They got kicked out of the store.
Harucchi and Kariba couldn’t show off any defensive skills.
                                       *
By the time everyone got back to the dorms, news about the incident had reached
everyone, even the Coach. Takashima-sensei gifted him a slap, and Sawamura
humbly accepted it. He didn’t mind, because he knew she was smirking when she
thought he wasn’t looking. He had done the right thing. Kataoka was angry, but
Sawamura reasoned that he’d fought through baseball, so. (Anyway, everybody
knew he was proud. They’d all been livid when they’d heard of what the guy had
said, and Kataoka was really impressed that their pitcher showed such a great
display.)
In Miyuki’s room, the incident was discussed further.
“I can’t believe his ball didn’t break, but the idiotic prick’s stomach did,”
cackled Kuramochi, who was one of the first to hear of the incident. Kariba
nodded in agreement, occasionally laughing. The nerve Sawamura had… The ball
could have gone anywhere, and then he’d have to face mockery. He had to have
been absolutely sure about his pitches for his plan to work. They were lucky he
was a part of Seidou.
“Aw, were you pissed on my behalf, Sawamura?” Miyuki taunted, and Sawamura
huffed, ready to retort.
“How did you aim it at him, though, Eijun-chan?” Miyuki continued, and the
pitcher’s heart stopped because Eijun-chan? Wasn’t he ‘Sawamura’ a second back?
“Were you imagining your catcher’s mitt in place of his stomach?”
Sawamura stared at him, then shook his head. He wouldn’t even bother replying.
(He hadn’t pretended he was throwing into Miyuki’s mitt. Likening the catcher’s
mitt to that asshole was sacrilege.)
Harucchi had a comeback though, because, “Don’t you mean ‘my catcher’s mitt’,
Miyuki-senpai? You said ‘your catcher’s mitt’.”
Too bad no one heard. Quite suspicious, in Eijun’s opinion.
===============================================================================
4.
Alright, so maybe it wasn’t one of his best decisions when he decided to start
teasing Sawamura. But it’s not like the pitcher made it hard to rile him up.
Eijun was an utter idiot, and now everyone was thinking that he was Miyuki’s
idiot. And that was fine, but the only one who didn’t think so was the idiot
himself!
Seriously, was he blind or what? Miyuki had hinted so many timesthat he was
interested, but his kouhai only thought he was mocking him.
God, Miyuki didn’t do the whole wooing and serious business. You had to look
past all the jabs and insults to know his feelings. Of course, expecting
Sawamura to be able to do that was like expecting the Earth to stop rotating.
The pitcher was so adorable though, all red faced when he shouted at Miyuki,
that the catcher just couldn’t stop. Kuramochi said he was smitten.
“He does everything you ask him to do, though. I say he’s just too stupid to
understand that he loves you back.”
“Or maybe he’s just an innocent boy who doesn’t know that the catcher he
idolises is a pervert.” Zono cut in, frowning. “You need to stop treating him
like your pet, Miyuki. He’s not something for you to play with.”
“Oh, but, you know. He’s the one who always wants to play with me.” Miyuki
replied smoothly, baring all his teeth in a grin. Oh, how he loved when people
disapproved of his antics. So wonderful.
Shirasu sighed, “As long as it’s not affecting baseball I don’t see why he
can’t pine after Sawamura. But I agree with Zono, maybe you should tone it down
a little, Miyuki. Sawamura might actually get hurt one of these days. And stop
using baseball puns for the dirty activities you wish you could take part in.”
Miyuki ignored the last sentence. Shirasu wished he could partake in those
‘dirty activities.’
“Pfft, with his thick skin? I weigh my options before going through with
something, Shirasu, and I know you know that nothing messes that guy up.”
“You wish you could.” Kuramochi mumbled, and then his head snapped up, eyes
boring into Miyuki’s. “You… Oi, you don’t want to, you know, do that with him,
do you?”
“Whatever could you mean by ‘that,’ Kuramochi?” the captain smirked.
“Miyuki, we are friends, but I swear if you lay a single hand on Bakamura, I
will break your fingers, your performance on the field be damned! We have
catchers to spare.”
What was he? Sawamura’s mom?
“What if I lay both my hands on him?”
It turned out that Cheetah-kun wasn’t just good at running. He was also good at
jumping over desks and grabbing people by the neck and screaming at them.
                                       *
So, when they were practicing, and Sawamura kept buzzing around him like the
most adorable bee while demanding that he catch for him, he knew he had to get
away. If he didn't, he'd most probably end up teasing the pitcher again, just
to watch that red flush steal over his face.
God, why was the most beautiful boy ever also the stupidest?
“Can’t you see that I’m catching for Furuya?” Oh no. Sawamura looked
crestfallen.
“Miyuki-senpai? I have to pitch to someone else now, Coach told me to. One of
the kouhais, maybe. They need to get used to my pitching. I have to do fielding
after that. So you can catch for him now.”
Furuya? The one time I say that, you don’t want to pitch to me? Dammit. “Well,
then I’ll catch for Nori. Nori, get here. I’ll catch.”
Nori looked at him, confused, “But… I’m pitching to Ono. Have been for the past
half an hour, Miyuki.”
Fuck.
“Uh,” he started, and Sawamura looked expectantly at him, “How about you polish
your balls first? Get them in top condition, then I’ll catch for you.”
“What? But I did that three days ago! Let me pitch to you now!” Eijun
protested, and Miyuki internally strangled himself to stop from going over and
ruffling his kouhai’s hair.
“Polish the other balls, then. If they’re in a good condition later, we can
play more.”
Eijun thought about it, eyebrows furrowed, and Miyuki prayed that he agreed.
“Fine, I’ll do it.”
Miyuki was going to worship whichever god helped him out.
                                       *
“Why did Miyuki-senpai not want to catch for me?” Eijun muttered under his
breath, coating a ball with wax. Was he that bad as a pitcher that his captain
didn’t want him to pitch to him?
“Bakamura, what are you doing here? Weren’t you going to pitch to Miyuki?”
“Kuramochi-senpai! Miyuki… he… told me to polish all the balls we have before I
can pitch.” Sawamura answered, voice low enough that it was obvious he was
hurt.
Kuramochi sighed. Goddamnit, Miyuki. Why couldn’t the captain get his head out
of his ass and treat Sawamura nicely? Was that too much to ask? He looked back
down at his roommate, and found him clutching the ball, staring at it, face
shadowed by his hair.
Shit. Was he supposed to be this weak to Bakamura’s tantrums?
“Gah, okay, fine, I will help you with these. There’s no way you can finish
this andpitch before midnight. Miyuki won’t catch for you then.”
Sawamura stared at him suspiciously, “And what are you getting out of this if
you help me?”
Right. He had to think about that as well. Because of course Kuramochi couldn’t
be nice out of the goodness of his heart, huh, Bakamura? “How about… you let me
bat when you’re pitching sometime. I’m getting tired of using the pitching
machine.”
“Sure! Help me, Kuramochiii!”
Well, that was easy. Good thing Bakamura didn’t know how to tell good excuses
from bad ones.
                                       *
That’s just how Miyuki found Sawamura later, with Kuramochi working beside him,
both of them laughing at something.
Kuramochi looked up, caught his eye and grinned. “Bakamura is almost done,
Miyuki, catch for him will ya?”
“Definitely.” Miyuki replied, eyebrow twitching, a tight smile plastered on his
face. “Sawamura, were you so desperate to pitch to me that you accepted
Kuramochi’s help?”
Oh shit, Bakamura was blushing. Kuramochi couldn’t watch this any further, or
he’d have to bleach his eyes.
“Tch, I’m not doing this for free. I already asked him to do something for me.
I’ll take it from here. Now go pitch to your catcher, Bakamura.” Giving the
younger boy a push forward, he smirked at his classmate.
Those two were so damn infatuated with each other, always dancing around one
another. It was hilarious.
He couldn’t resist one last jab though. “Bakamura, I will leave soon too, the
polish will dry, and I’ll put the balls away. If you have to polish Miyuki’s
balls, do it yourself!”
“Will do, Kuramochi-senpai!”
Oh god.
===============================================================================
5.
There was something up with Miyuki. Something had happened, and that’s why he
wasn’t talking to him anymore. Sawamura somehow made him angry. There was no
other explanation.
Miyuki-senpai didn’t just pretend to not hear and not turn around whenever
someone else from the baseball team called out to him. It was just Sawamura.
It had been almost two weeks since the polishing incident, and that had been
the final time Miyuki had interacted with him as a person and not as a pitcher.
He didn’t crack any jokes, didn’t tease him about things that Eijun just
couldn’t explain his reason for blushing at, or call him stupid. Miyuki did
none of that, and he should have been relieved, but all he felt was
restlessness.
Why was his captain so distant?
He couldn’t be planning something, right? Like, make Sawamura miss you so you
can make fun of him later? Miyuki-senpai wouldn’t do that, right?
Shit. Eijun needed validation that his captain didn’t hate him. What did he do
to receive the cold shoulder?
“Kuramochi-senpai?” he asked one evening, lying on his bed with his arms
hanging off the edge, brushing the floor.
Kuramochi tilted his head, looking at his kouhai from the corner of his eye as
he put his pen down on the desk. “What happened, Bakamura?”
“What’s up with Miyuki?”
Kuramochi turned back to face the wall, staring at it wordlessly before he
stood up and pushed his chair back. Walking around, he slid it back in before
coming and slumping onto Eijun’s bed.
“Why do you want to know?”
Sawamura made a sound, frustrated. Was he supposed to tell the truth here? Was
it even fine, saying something like ‘I think Miyuki is ignoring me and I’m
worried?’ What if he was just imagining things and Kuramochi laughed at him? Or
worse, told Miyuki?
“You’re worried, aren’t you?”
He looked up at the other boy, surprised. Had he said it out loud? Yikes.
“It’s pretty obvious.” Kuramochi snorted, running a hand through his hair,
pushing a strand out of his eye. “He’s not talking to you anymore, is he?”
He continued despite Sawamura opening his mouth to answer, “He’s being an
annoying idiot. It might not seem that way to you but he’s ignoring me too. He
doesn’t talk to me in class, looks angry and constipated half the time and
depressed the other half as if the world did grave injustice to him.”
“Do you know why he’s acting like that?”
“Hm, my guess would be me helping you polish the balls. Polishing balls is like
a very intim – important thing, you know. If someone asks you to do it, you
don’t just dump the work on someone else. Especially if it’s the captain who
asks you.”
“But, Kuramochi-senpai! It was you who offered to help me! I didn’t ask for
your help!”
“Haa? You mean I am responsible for Miyuki’s bad mood?” Kuramochi demanded, and
Sawamura yelped as his roommate’s arm came around his neck, putting slight
pressure.
“Well you were the one who said he’d take care of it!”
Kuramochi breathed out through his nose, closing his eyes. Should he even be
telling the pitcher what he knew? Miyuki was a pain in the ass, sure, but was
it really worth divulging secrets about the asshole to a guy who worshipped the
ground he walked on? And – Kuramochi was never letting Miyuki know – believe it
or not, he did consider Miyuki to be a friend.
Maybe that’s why he should tell Sawamura. They were both dancing around each
other, and as a bystander it was getting annoying to see that every day.
“Tell you what, Bakamura. Why don’t you win back your captain’s approval?”
“Huh??” Eijun said, finally sitting up, elbows digging into his thighs as he
leaned forward, “How can I do that?”
“Uh, do something that he appreciates?”
“How am I supposed to do that?” his kouhai was finally showing the first signs
of anger, “I’ve pitched all I can, with as much control and strength as
possible, all week! I’ve even practiced batting, and tried my best to hit the
ball, and I’ve been eating my three bowls of rice really fastand I’ve been
taking more servings, and I just – I don’t know what to do!”
Kuramochi stared at him, then shook his head, “That won’t do. He’s not going to
come after such things. That idiot would just think you’re trying to get better
for the team. Why don’t you try something that’s just for him? A simple
gesture? Something like flowers – hear me out before you speak – or, I don’t
know, baking him cookies? He likes sweet things.”
Sawamura’s eyes widened comically, and then –
“KURAMOCHI-SENPAI, DID I EVER TELL YOU HOW MUCH OF A GENIUS YOU ARE?”
The senpai in question wasn’t sure if he’d ever been more stunned at someone
falling prey to his pranks.
                                       *
Cookies were strange.
There was too much sugar, too much flour, too much – what was it again? –
glittery stuff – oh, yes, sprinkles, that’s what they were – and just way too
much stuff to do.
But Eijun would survive and come out stronger.
He could have settled on making chocolate cookies, but those were so generic.
No, he had to reel Miyuki in with something different, something exotic.
The Mint Snowballs’ recipe looked good, it was simple and probably didn’t take
much time.
He dutifully laid out all the items he needed, careful to not drop or mix
anything. The syrup looked tasty, but of course he had to save it for Miyuki.
                                       *
When the senior managers opened the kitchen door two hours later, they were
expecting it to be spotless. They were not expecting a kouhai decked out in
flour and icing, syrup dripping everywhere, butter smeared on his forearms and
hands.
“...Sawamura-kun?”
The boy in question looked at them, smiling sheepishly as anotherdrop slid down
his hair to stay suspended at the tip, swaying dangerously as it prepared to
splatter on the floor.
“Uh, Manager-san. Hi! I was, aaah, baking cookies.”
“Sachiko? Sachiko, you’re shaking.” Natsukawa-san said, grasping her friend’s
hand. The other manager mumbled something, and then leaned against the wall,
“Yui, I can’t deal with this. Call Miyuki.”
Miyuki? Why were they talking about Miyuki? Did they figure out who the cookies
were meant for? Did they want to eat Sawamura’s creation? He could share, they
didn’t have to ask the captain for permission! One or two didn’t matter, right?
And he could get their opinions, have them taste test the delicacies!
He picked up a cookie off the tray, and held it in his palm as he blew on it.
Stretching out his hand, he held it out to them with a smile. “There are
plenty, you can have some if you want.”
It was that moment that Umemoto-san slid down the wall to flop at the ground.
“I – Yui, get Miyuki. I can’t deal with this.” and she continued shaking, her
head buried in her knees.
“Senpai?” Eijun asked, worried. Was the girl sick and in pain? Was she scared?
What was happening?
Natsukawa popped her head out of the kitchen door, and requested someone to get
the captain. Gosh, what was happening?
After some time, Nabe-senpai came to relay a message, “Miyuki is busy
somewhere, can’t find him, but maybe Zono or Kura – oh.”
The upperclassman’s eyes were wide as he stared at Sawamura, and the pitcher
had the urge to hide. Why was everyone giving him such weird looks? Don’t tell
him they were after his cookies!
What if… what if Kuramochi had told everyone he was baking cookies for them and
now everyone wanted a taste?
He took a deep breath.
“KURAMOCHI!”
                                       *
“Honestly, I don’t know what you thought but I told you to bake cookies, not
dress up using them! What even is that goo in your hair, Bakamura?”
“I wasbaking!” Sawamura shouted, incensed, “See,” and he pointed at the tray
lying innocently on the counter. “Just because I got a little sweet doesn’t
mean I was ‘dressing up!’ You take back your words, Kuramochi!”
“Sawamura, did Kuramochi put you up to this?”
“He said it was the only way to get Miyuki-senpai to talk to me again!”
By then, most of the players had filed into the room and were watching the
proceedings, some giggling, some quiet and some so perplexed you’d have thought
they were looking at math problems instead of their kouhai.
They all shut up in unison though, heads swivelling to look at Sawamura when
they heard his declaration.
At length, Aso spoke, “You made these cookies for Miyuki?”
Eijun nodded, lower lip jutting out.
“And I suppose we’re not good enough to receive your cookies?” he demanded,
shrugging when people stared at him, “I like cookies, so what?”
They shook their head.
“Anyway, why Miyuki?”
Now this, thiswas interesting. They unconsciously leaned forward to listen to
Sawamura’s answer.
“He’s mad at me.”
“Who?”
Fuck.
Miyuki Kazuya had to have the worst timing possible, because there he stood in
the doorway, asking Sawamura who was mad at him right when they were about to
get the latest updates on Miyusawa.
Kuramochi groaned, “Finally, our dear captain is here. Miyuki, do something
about this boy. Take him to the showers, or something. I can’t stand seeing him
all covered in whatever the heck he tried to make.”
“Don’t forget that it’s you who made me end up like this, Bakamochi!” the
pitcher shouted, as Miyuki stalked towards him.
“Hey, Asou,” a daring soul said, shocking even the most perverted ones, “Why
don’t you eat Sawamura and see if his cookies are good?”
Sawamura spluttered, shaking his head and moving away from Asou, who looked
equally uncomfortable. He had every right to be, considering the look Miyuki –
who’d stopped in his tracks – was giving him.
Lord, those two were fucking unbelievable. Doing their weird mating dance and
dragging everyone around into it. What next? Was Miyuki going to publicly claim
Sawamura, or something? Holy shit, that’d be kind of hot.
…No! That wasn’t the point! The point was, Miyuki was enraged, almost seething,
and Asou had to make amends or he wouldn’t wake up tomorrow.
“Keep your cookies to yourself, Sawamura. I don’t like sweet things anyway.
Especially, uh, cookies. Yeah. I hatecookies.”
“But you said –”
“Miyuki,” Asou swallowed his fear and stared at the captain, pleading with his
eyes, “I’m sure you want to know all about who is mad at him, and as the
captain you should totally make sure that he takes a shower. We’ll clean up
here, you just take him away.”
Miyuki smiled thinly, tone venomous, “Sure, I was about to get in the bath
myself.”
“Great! Perfect! Go take your bath!”
                                       *
“Would you stop dragging me as if you can’t stand to actually look at me and
spend time with me by walking slowly? Last I checked, not everyone is as used
to being dragged around by you as Kuramochi-senpai.”
The grip on his arm tightened, and Eijun winced. Miyuki was going to end up
bruising him, and honestly, he doubted the captain cared right now.
“Listen –”
“Shut the fuck up.” He finally said, fixing the pitcher with a cold stare.
“Kuramochi-senpai this, Kuramochi-senpai that, why didn’t you ask your dear
senpai to not throw you to me back in the common room, huh? If you really can’t
stand to be next to me and are only going to cry about Kuramochi, then for the
love of god, go to him right now before I do something I regret.”
Did something he’d regret? Like being rude to Eijun? And why was he getting so
mad at Kuramochi? What the heck was Miyuki going through that made him act so
odd?
In fact, Miyuki being like that was making Sawamura feel weird.
What the…
“You’re blushing now.”
“Miyuki-senpai, can we just…”
The captain huffed, as if it took all his energy to not beat Sawamura up (which
was probably true), then sighed and shook his head. “Just go and take your
shower. I’m not going to tell your lovely senpai that you love him.”
“Eh?!”
“Wh – who said I love you?!”
“What?I was talking about Ku–”
Eijun reasserted, paying no mind to him, “Miyuki-senpai! Who told you I loved
you? I don’t! I – seriously, I don’t!”
Goddamnit. Miyuki was going to cry and it was all because of that idiot
pitcher. When did he get swapped in for Kuramochi? Did Sawamura even remember
they were talking about Kuramochi or was he that stupid?
“Sawamura, please, just go clean yourself up! I can’t talk to you about this,
looking like you do.”
Sawamura blinked, lips parted just right, and Miyuki was not crying. “Why can’t
you talk to me like this? What do I look like?”
“You’re telling me you don’t know you’ve got all this sweetness clinging to
you? Jesus, why is it in your hair?”
“Ah! You should have told me!” Thank god for the boy who now looked conscious
of the situation. Except, now he could exploit it all he wanted and Miyuki
would be stuck with the torture. Yikes.
“That’s not fair, Miyuki, you should have told me that earlier. And hey, didn’t
you have to clean up too? Kuramochi said you did.” When Miyuki nodded, Sawamura
continued, “So come with me to the bath! I’m not the only one who needs to be
clean! You don’t have to be so mean!”
That was the first sign of everything going down the drain.
Quite literally.
                                       *
Fingers curled loosely around Eijun’s wrist, Miyuki dragged the younger boy
inside the bath house.
“Senpai? Miyuki-senpai? Can I ask you something?”
Miyuki grunted, not in the mood to answer questions, “No, you clean yourself
up, and then I’ll think about whether or not I want to talk to you.”
“What?” Sawamura bristled, “Why do you get to do what you want and I get told
what to do?”
“Because I’m your senpai. I have the right to boss you around.” Miyuki replied,
some of his usual snark creeping back into his voice. That was how it was
supposed to be. Eijun, all riled up because he couldn’t take Miyuki poking fun
at him, and the catcher having the time of his life with it. Not something like
– like… Eijun looking pretty and delicious and riling him up. Lord, if
Kuramochi knew, he’d never make it out alive.
He turned away, lest his dick traitorously rise to the occasion.
He shucked off all his clothes, and then got in the bath. Sighing, he leaned
back, head resting against the stone as he looked up at the ceiling. Goddamnit,
his muscles were screaming and his eyes were watering.
He’d probably have to get his eyes checked again, because there was no way
hours under the sun hadn’t done something to them. He couldn’t just let them go
bad. He needed them to check Sawamura out every day of his life.
Which was not something he was doing right now.
“Miyuki~, don’t you want tosee how I look right now?”He shuddered as he
imagined the younger boy saying that. There was no way that the idiot would
ever have that much sex appeal, but unfortunately it seemed as if Miyuki liked
him even when he didn’t.
If an unassuming and annoyed Sawamura was that much of a turn-on, then what
would happen if he was faced with a sexy Eijun?
Probably die. Best option.
“Miyuki.” He started as he realised his kouhai had actually spoken, and he
turned to look at him. Wrong move, considering said kouhai was happily standing
– Miyuki didn’t let his eyes go below Sawamura’s neck.
“I won’t shower till you tell me what’s wrong.”
“Why the heck not, Sawamura?”
“Because then you’ll take your chance and run away before I get out.” His
cheeks puffed up as he asserted, “I’m not stupid.”
Heh, so he wasn’t. How unexpected.
“Nothing’s wrong, Sawamura. I’m tired, can’t I bathe in peace?”
“No. You are going to tell me why you’ve been so distant over the past month.
You used to always annoy me, but now you don’t and –”
“Oh, so you miss me making a fool out of you?” Miyuki asked, grinning.
“Shut up! What is it that made you draw away from me? Tell me.” Miyuki ignored
the question, and Sawamura’s frown deepened.
“Don’t you trust me?” And Eijun turned his puppy eyes full force on Miyuki, and
Miyuki was dead.
He should have thought before acting. As it was, he ended up getting out of the
bath, walked across the place to get to Eijun, who looked increasingly like he
was going to faint.
Oh, yeah, he forgot his towel.
                                       *
Oh god. Oh god. Oh god.
Miyuki was – holy shit, someone up there wanted to kill Sawamura. There was no
other reason for why Miyuki was walking with that – that – that thing between
his legs that just wouldn’t stop coming closer to him and oh–
He probably stared like an utterly depraved individual, but Eijun couldn’t help
it.
Miyuki was walking around with his fucking dick waving around like a happy flag
without a care in the world, and Miyuki was walking towards him, which meant
that the happy flag of his was coming closer and closer and closer and closer
to Eijun by every second – Eijun who was equally undressed so there was really
no way that Miyuki wouldn’t notice that his kouhai was really feeling hot right
now because Sawamura Eijun’s dick just wouldn’tstoptwitching.
Fuuuck, Eijun’s brain was fried.
He tore his eyes away from… it, and looked at Miyuki’s face. The stupid catcher
wasn’t smirking, surprisingly. Heck, it looked like he hadn’t even noticed,
what with his concerned expression.
Why was he concerned? Was he concerned about Eijun?
Sawamura took a deep breath, noticing how his lips were completely dry while
saliva pooled in his mouth. Shit, he’d almost started drooling. Good thing it
didn’t actually happen. Miyuki would definitely have noticed then.
“It’s not that I don’t trust you, stupid. As my pitcher, I need to trust you.
And you me. So why can’t you just ignore how I’ve been acting? I’ve just been
busy, you know. Sorry I’ve not been around to play with you.”
And now his eyes were stinging. “But you… You don’t even talk to me. You talk
to everyone but me, and when I try to talk to you, you always disappear. What
did I do, Miyuki-senpai?”
Jesus.
Miyuki had three options. Tell Eijun the truth (ha!Like that was even a real
option), tell him he was imagining things, or just lie and sneer his way out of
it. The third sounded very tempting.
But… Sawamura looked so hurt, eyes wide and teary, as he demanded what Miyuki
had been doing. He was probably actually upset. Miyuki couldn’t poke fun at
someone like that.
“You did nothing, Eijun-chan. Your senpai has just been extremely busy with
baseball and academics, and so he couldn’t pay attention to you. He paid
attention to others because they aren’t awesome enough to function without him.
But you can. You are a great pitcher who can do just fine without me breathing
down your neck. Which is why I didn’t.”
“...Shut up, don’t try to flatter me, Miyuki. And don’t talk about yourself in
third person. And even if I’m awesome, don’t – don’t ignore me again.” Pouting,
Sawamura refused to meet his captain’s eyes as he looked off to the side.
Miyuki really did know how to make him dance to his tune, didn’t he?
And why was he calling him ‘Eijun-chan’ again?
The catcher grinned, then brought his hand up to Sawamura’s shoulder, lightly
patting it. “Go shower.”
Eijun whirled around, heart stopping and breath not coming out. Miyuki touched
his shoulder. His bare shoulder. While they were both in the bath house. Naked.
Was he doing that on purpose?
He took a wobbly step forward, trying to stop his shaking and hoping Miyuki
didn’t notice anything, and then –
The world tilted, and Sawamura fell.
Except, Miyuki grabbed him.
(Miyuki’s arms shot out without thinking, grabbing the slim waist and slamming
the body back against his. His heart thudded loudly in his chest, eyes wide as
he witnessed Eijun almost dying because he was clumsy enough to slip. The floor
wasn’t even wet, holy fuck.)
A strangled noise left the pitcher’s mouth.
Oh fucking god, fucking goddamn shit, fucking bloody shit, of all the bloody
fucking stupid shitty things that could happen – which could reduce Miyuki’s
swearing capabilities to just repeating a few words over and over again – this
had to happen.
This being –
That was Sawamura’s ass that was resting against Miyuki’s dick. No barriers,
just plain butt-on-cock action.
Oh, and it would be a nice time to mention that Miyuki, having left the bath
recently, was completely wet.
So there they stood in the middle of the room, cock slick with water lodged
against a butt, which looked too delicious to not get fucked into next week.
The cock jerked, showing the first signs of protest against Miyuki’s sanity,
and Miyuki nervously looked at the boy in his arms.
The owner of the butt wasn’t doing any better.
Miyuki had been so wrapped up in cursing at his dick, that he’d failed to
notice the state Sawamura was in. The pitcher’s breath was coming out in small,
audible puffs, his head angled towards the ground. The back of his neck was
exposed, and Miyuki gulped as he noticed how red it was, with sweat dripping
off of it. Would it be as hot to touch as it looked?
He moved his hand a bit, as if to check, but when Eijun swayed, he hastily
grabbed his waist again. It looked like Sawamura wouldn’t be able to hold
himself up without Miyuki’s help, and Miyuki was more than happy to help.
The younger boy was trembling all over, and his arms hung limply by his sides.
His legs – fuck, his legs. They were bowed slightly, making him look smaller
than he was, and clearly offering his hips to Miyuki.
Was Sawamura Eijun even aware how pretty he was?
With the greatest effort in the world, Miyuki pried himself away, and manually
walked Sawamura to the showers, before dumping him on the ground. He couldn’t
deal with this.
Except when he turned around to get back to his bath like a goodguy, who was
not perving on his sexy kouhai – who probably did not even understand what was
happening – he was stopped by a hand on his calf.
Eijun looked up at him, tears pooling at the corner of his eyes. His face was
still utterly red, and there was a very, very unnoticeable trail (that Miyuki
wouldn’t even have seen had he not been watching the other boy like a hawk
ready to fuck the little bird) of something at his lower lip. Fuck, was he
drooling? Lord, those lips were obscene.
But… those eyes weren’t meeting his. He wasn’t looking up at Miyuki. He wasn’t
even looking up.
Sawamura Eijun wasn’t looking up.
No, his eyes were trained solely on Miyuki’s dick.
Miyuki growled.

***** Chapter 2 *****
+1.
Miyuki slid to his knees (looking every bit of the predator that he was in this
situation) before gripping Sawamura’s shoulders and pushing him back.
The pitcher fell to the floor, water wetting his back. He made a pretty
picture, legs splayed open, hands on either side that he desperately tried to
bring up to cover his face. His eyes, teary, looked into Miyuki’s, and Miyuki
almost groaned as he brought a hand up to halt the one that was moving up to
cover those eyes. No way was he not going to look Eijun in the eye as he did,
well, whatever they were going to do.
He ran a hand up Eijun’s calf, and the boy trembled, leg twisting as he tried
to get away from the touch.
“You can’t run.”
Sawamura turned his head, hair falling into his eyes, and while Miyuki could
stare at that bared neck for hours, he wanted the pitcher to see what was
happening.
Gripping his jaw in his hand, he leaned over, whispering into Eijun’s ear,
“Look at me. Look at me when I make a mess of you.”
His kouhai shook his head, a breathy noise spilling out from his lips, and
Miyuki grinned. Lord, but he was going to have fun with him.
He tilted his head, deciding to finally kiss Sawamura, and when their lips met,
Sawamura sighed contently, breath fanning out against Miyuki’s nose.
Miyuki stuck out his tongue, flicking it across as he licked the seam of his
lips, asking for permission.
Sawamura’s lips parted delicately, and Miyuki’s tongue glided over his gums,
before he delved for his goal. He located the pitcher’s tongue, and curling his
own around it, he revelled in the warm and wet feeling. God, he wanted his cock
in that mouth, thrusting as he looked down at Eijun’s beautiful face.
He retracted his tongue minutely, and caught Sawamura’s lower lip in his teeth
before releasing it.
“I want to mark you up.”
It was said as a statement, but Eijun in his rare moment of clarity, understood
what the catcher meant. He was asking, not stating, and had he not been so
turned on, Sawamura would have cooed at how sweet Miyuki was.
“Do it,” he whispered, not trusting himself to be coherent enough to use more
than two words. (He also knew how he’d sound if he was loud, and he was too
embarrassed to let Miyuki hear him.)
Miyuki grinned, before he bit down.
Sawamura’s eyes fluttered, almost rolling back in his head. Miyuki’s tongue
soothed the bite he’d left on the pitcher’s lip, and as he slipped his tongue
back in, dipping it in and out, Sawamura tried not to moan.
It felt like Miyuki was fucking his mouth with his tongue, the in-swirl-out
motions making him think of another part of him that Miyuki could use like
that.
God, he was throbbing, and he needed.
Miyuki shifted, slipping a leg between Sawamura’s splayed ones, and caging him
in with his arms.
Sawamura gasped, back arching, and yeah, that felt good.
“Mi-Miyuki-senpai, you, what – ah,” he trembled as he felt his captain’s cock
against his own. The catcher moved, rubbing against him and he threw his head
back, banging it against the floor but uncaring of the pain that shot through
him.
A hand gripped his waist, and the leg between his own pressed more insistently,
until he finally spread his legs. Miyuki let out a satisfied noise, before
pulling back to look at the boy under him.
“You taste sweet.”
Eijun gave him an embarrassed glare, before weakly replying. “It’s the
cookies.” He was well aware of his raw voice in the quiet room, and judging by
Miyuki’s tightening grip on his waist, so was the catcher.
“Which cookies?”
“The ones that I baked for you.”
“Did you now?” Seeing Eijun nod, he continued, “Why don’t I have a taste then?”
“They’re in the kitchen…” the pitcher replied weakly, unsure of how Miyuki
would react.
To his surprise, Miyuki threw his head back and laughed, “I don’t need to go
there to have a taste.”
And then –
Holy shit.
A strangled gasp left his mouth, and he stared alarmed at Miyuki, humiliation
colouring his cheeks red. “What are you doing?”
“Tasting you.”
Oh.
Oh.
He let out a small cry as Miyuki’s tongue flicked over his neck, before his
lips clamped over the skin and sucked.
His hands came up to the catcher’s head, trying to push him away, but he only
succeeded in pulling him closer, pressing him against his neck as his poor skin
got assaulted. It was as if his hands had a mind of their own, and right now,
they certainly didn’t share Sawamura’s opinion of getting some distance between
him and his senpai.
Miyuki decided to take pity on him though, and his neck was released. He
realised how naive he’d been, when those lips simply reattached to another part
of his body.
“Se-sen-Miyuki-senpai! Haaa.” His hips left the floor, body arching again as
his toes curled. Miyuki grinned around his nipple, before he bit down.
Sawamura keened, trying to speak, but the only sounds that left his mouth were
broken gasps.
“Say it again.”
“Unh, Miyuki.” a tear slid down his cheek, face hot as he watched transfixed,
his captain licking around the abused nub.
“Eijun-chan, look at how red your nipple’s become. You love this, don’t you?”
he brushed his leg against Sawamura’s dick, and the pitcher took in a shuddery
breath as he realised how slick he’d got, precome dripping as pleasure zinged
through him.
The pressure was delicious, and Sawamura knew that with the way they were
proceeding, he’d probably end up spurting all over himself.
There were hands all over him, one coming up to pinch his unattended nipple,
rolling it between fingers. The other went up and down his sides, before
resting on his ass and pushing hard, lifting him up, making him balance on the
heels of his feet. He was perched awkwardly on air, held up by Miyuki’s hands,
and it made him breathless, feeling so vulnerable.
“Can you stay like this?”
“I-I don’t know.” It was true. While he knew he’d try his best for Miyuki, his
legs were trembling, and there was no knowing when they gave out and he flopped
to the floor.
“Try.”
Sawamura moaned at the word, biting his lip as he tried to stay in place,
hyperaware of how the hands supporting him left, and with a start, he realised
that the position he had to be in to not fall was extremely lewd.
He inhaled, eyes fluttering shut at the thought, as he touched his upper body
to the floor, and shifted his legs.
His hips were in the air, with his shoulders on the floor, legs wide open for
Miyuki to sit in between. It put his cock directly in the catcher’s line of
sight, and the thought sent another shiver through him, more precome beading at
the head of his dick.
Miyuki leaned in, and Sawamura watched with wide eyes as his senpai dragged his
tongue over his cock.
“Good boy.” he said, voice low and Eijun whined. “You like me calling you
that?”
Did he? Was Miyuki really asking that? Didn’t the catcher know how much Eijun
craved his approval? On the field, in daily life, everywhere. Seemingly while
they were fucking too. So was it really that surprising?
“Uah, yes, senpai!”
Miyuki’s eyes darkened, “Okay, then, Eijun, be good and let your senpai mess
you up. You will let me, won’t you? Let me lick you all over, run my hands and
bring you to the edge, while you cry out so prettily? You’ll show me that
gorgeous face won’t you, when you come, eh? You’ll cry for me, won’t you?”
Fuuuck, did Miyuki have a kink for his tears?
(Yes, he did, he loved seeing those eyelashes speckled with tears like
diamonds, beautiful golden eyes looking up at him desperately.)
Sawamura’s eyes were already wet, and he didn’t hesitate to fix them on his
senpai. If it got him his release, he was willing to be a tease. “Yes, yes, I
will, anything you say!”
“Well, now, you shouldn’t be making promises like that,” Miyuki said, lips
stretched in a smirk. Eijun saying that just made half of his fantasies come
true, and he could definitely make the other half come true, now that he’d got
permission.
“Miyuki-senpai…”
“What, Eijun-chan?
“What are you going to do?” he asked. On one hand, it was extremely thrilling,
not knowing what Miyuki was going to do to him, but on the other, it made him
feel so nervous, spread out like that in front of his senpai, not knowing what
was happening. It both turned him on and embarrassed him, and he felt like he’d
die if Miyuki didn’t do or tell him soon.
Do him… Now that sounded good. His hips gave an aborted thrust. God, he needed
something, and he needed it soon.
“You don’t have to worry, Eijun.” Miyuki said, stroking his belly soothingly,
“I won’t do anything you won’t like.”
Sawamura exhaled. He trusted Miyuki.
Miyuki, satisfied with Sawamura’s compliance, turned his attention completely
to his waist. The skin was soft, despite him playing baseball every day. His
belly – something that made Miyuki think of weird things that he wasn’t going
to think about – was tender, and he had the vague urge to sink his teeth into
it, just to see his pitcher squirm.
He stuck his tongue out, swirling it around the outside of Sawamura’s navel,
before plunging it in. Sawamura gasped, head thrown back and the muscles in his
throat fluttering as he tried to control his breathing.
He again outlined the edge with his tongue, before moving even further down. He
flicked his eyes up, and found Eijun looking back at him, cheeks red and eyes
dreamy, like he couldn’t believe Miyuki was there. Maybe he couldn’t.
He’d just have to make him believe, then, didn’t he? Miyuki’s trademark
cheshire grin broke across his face, and he wiggled his eyebrows. “If you look
like this before I’ve even done something, I bet you wouldn’t be able to do
anything but shake and shudder once I actually start.”
“You’ll just have to start to know that, wouldn’t you?”
Miyuki’s eyebrows vanished into his hairline as he looked at the pitcher.
Sawamura looked back at him, challenging him.
He giggled. Miyuki Kazuya giggled.
He couldn’t help it. Sawamura looked so cute, like a cub trying to act like a
full grown tiger. He was at the point of getting ravished, and he was still
sassing Miyuki.
The catcher decided to humour him, and pouted, “Eijun, your senpai was being so
nice to you, complimenting you and trying to ease you into it and you’re just
asking him to hurry up? How mean. And here I thought I was a good senpai.”
(Ah, so perhaps Miyuki-senpai wanted to hear that hewas doing good. He
shouldn’t, he shouldn’t let that affect him, but the idea of the older boy
needing validation over something like this was… insanely hot.)
“Unh, senpai is so good!”
Miyuki’s lips twitched. Was Sawamura under the impression that Miyuki had a
praise kink? Oh, well, better that than have the pitcher know what actually
made him tick, and risk being played.
His eyes landed on the crook of Sawamura’s elbow, and his eyebrow furrowed.
What was that? He reached out and swiped his finger across it. Sawamura didn’t
seem to notice, too busy staring at his face to see where his hands were going.
Miyuki eyed his finger, before sticking it into his mouth. It was mild, a
light, sweet flavour that felt a bit thick on the tongue. Ah, butter.
Considering the way it was glistening under the light, it was definitely
butter.
There was more where that came from. Well, fuck, that sounded like Sawamura was
a buffet.
Laid out just for him.
Miyuki liked the sound of that.
In a fluid motion, he slid back up the pitcher’s body, and reclaimed his lips.
Sawamura kissed back, more lively this time as he brushed his tongue against
Miyuki’s. He probably thought he could get back the reins if he did that.
Miyuki loved his little firecracker, he really did, but there were times when
he really needed to assert his dominance. He couldn’t have the firecracker
getting too out of hand.
(No, he loved it. He absolutely adored how Eijun looked whenever he was
shouting at him. Miyuki Kazuya was not someone who showed emotions, most people
said, but they said so only because they’d never seen him around Sawamura.)
He swept his fingers over Eijun’s arm again, pretending to caress him, and
Eijun relaxed into his hold.
He continued kissing the pitcher, moving his hand downwards. Unexpectedly,
Eijun was still in the position he’d asked him to be, and Miyuki really
appreciated that.
Grabbing Sawamura’s ass, he spread the cheeks with both hands, and Sawamura
wiggled. He still didn’t fall, and Miyuki took that as a sign to continue. He
palmed his ass, alternating between feather touches and hard, bruising
pressure. All the while, he kept up his rhythm, fucking his tongue in and out
of Eijun’s mouth.
What he did next could not have crossed Sawamura’s mind even in his wildest
dreams, which was why he all but shouted when it happened.
There was a finger rubbing at his rim, and Sawamura couldn’t help shudder as
gasps punched out of his throat. “Mi-miyuki, what are you doing?!”
“Playing.”
“With what?”
“This little hole,” and Miyuki dragged his fingernails over it, and Eijun
shrieked. They were trimmed, and all he felt was arousal.
“Miyuki-senpai!”
Miyuki grinned, pressing against his hole more insistently, and Eijun’s eyes
fluttered. He sought out Miyuki’s gaze, and demanded again, “What are you
doing?”
“Isn’t it obvious, Sawamura? I’m preparing you so you can take my fingers. Then
I’ll explore this part of you –” his finger tapped, and Eijun almost died, “and
I’ll do it so good, that you’ll beg me for more. Then, you know what I’ll do?”
There was a sharp intake of breath, and the word left Sawamura’s mouth in a
puff of air.
“What?”
“I’ll eat you out, till you’re sobbing. And you’ll ask me to stop, but I won’t.
Not till I’ve got you screaming and covered in your own come.”
“Please, senpai…” he seemed to have an internal debate, a myriad of expressions
flitting through his face, before he exhaled.
“Do it.”
With a smirk, Miyuki reached, and completely wiped off the smear of butter off
from Sawamura’s arm and onto his fingers. Sawamura’s eyes widened as he
realised what had almost happened, and he abruptly sat up. “You – you – fucker!
What have you been doing to my butt all this time?!”
Miyuki winked, but the pitcher wasn’t amused, “Bakayuki! Why would you – what
even is – oh my god! You’ve been putting god knows what into my ass while I’ve
been nothing but an unsuspecting, trusting maiden from a shoujo manga?”
His eyes widened at his own words, and he flailed, “No, I mean – I’m not a
maiden! But I trusted you!”
“Calm down, Eijun-chan, it’s just butter.”
“…Butter?”
“Yes, butter – from the cookies that you said you made for me. Won’t you let me
open you up with it?”
Sawamura didn’t say anything, still glaring, but the colour in his cheeks had
become more pronounced, and his eyes were slightly glazed. Right now, he was so
easy to read. He didn’t have to say anything, one look at him and Miyuki knew
he needed him.
He gently pushed the pitcher back till he was on his back again. He didn’t ask
him to hold any weird position. With luck, he’d be wrecking Sawamura, and he
didn’t want to risk hurting the boy just because he was too depraved.
(Although, given the pitcher’s flexibility and his adaptation to Kuramochi, he
doubted it would truly hurt.)
His hand again made his way between Eijun’s legs, but this time he didn’t
distract him. If the pitcher wanted to watch, he could. Miyuki wasn’t one to
deny anyone anything. Anyway, it’d be hotter if Sawamura watched while Miyuki
fingered him, and then brought him to the edge. He could only imagine the
pretty picture.
He spread Sawamura’s cheeks again, and rubbed at his hole. “I’m going in now.”
Eijun gulped, nodding, and Miyuki’s thumb slid past the sphincter. It felt like
forever, as the digit sank in, centimetre by centimetre. The butter probably
hadn’t been enough, Miyuki realised with a start.
Sawamura didn’t seem to be complaining, but his eyes were screwed shut and his
lips were parted, short puffs of breath escaping.
He wiggled it around, and Sawamura jerked involuntarily.
So it was fine. He’d just use his spit if it got uncomfortable. He kept it in,
stroking over Sawamura’s inner walls for a minute, before he slid his thumb
out.
As a precaution, he spat on his hand, middle finger coated liberally, before
pushing back in. Eijun shuddered, hips moving, but Miyuki stopped him. “We do
it at my pace.”
He curled his finger, pushed it in and out, slowly trying to get the pitcher
used to it as he stretched him. The extra lubrication worked wonders, and
Sawamura seemed to be enjoying it, letting out little whines.
When it seemed like he could take more, Miyuki slowly pulled out his finger,
letting the tip rest inside Eijun’s hole. He put his index finger right next to
it, then slid both in. The younger boy’s hips rose up before settling down
again, and Miyuki soothed him, patting his head with his other hand.
“Is it okay to continue?” he asked.
When Eijun nodded, he experimentally twisted his fingers again. He was careful
to not go too deep, lest he get the prostate, but he wanted to go in as deep as
he could.
Sawamura’s ass was hot. It was weird, like putting your fingers into a cake
right out of the oven. Miyuki shook off the image. He already had too many
crazy thoughts, he wasn’t interested in having a food kink on top of that.
Though, really, with how things had proceeded so far – he’d used butter, for
god’s sake – he doubted he’d look at half the things used for baking cookies in
the same way again.
He spread his fingers out slightly, revelling in the hitch of breath he was
awarded. He closed them again, then repeated the motions.
He spat directly at where his fingers and Sawamura’s hole met, and was rewarded
with watching his saliva drip down the pitcher’s crack. Some of it caught on
his hole, and he watched transfixed as the muscle fluttered. F u c k.
It made the slide easier, and he decided to slowly piston his fingers in and
out. Sawamura’s thighs were trembling, muscles taut, and Miyuki grinned as he
decided to take it a step further.
He stretched his fingers as much as he could, and eyed the hole, which had
started to contract and relax. He wished he could see it clenching around
something else of his, but he wasn’t going to rush.
He retracted his fingers, till the tip of his forefinger rested just inside. He
slid it out, then slid it back in, with an added finger.
Three fingers were difficult. Sawamura’s eyes were clenched shut, and his chest
rose and fell as he started breathing faster. Miyuki trailed his eyes over the
pitcher’s body, and finding some butter – what a blessing! – on the wrist of
his other hand, he swiped it up.
Rubbing the butter on Eijun’s rim and around his fingers, he murmured slowly,
“You’re doing so well, Eijun. You know what’s happening? I’ve got three of my
fingers in you –” he crooked one slightly, and Sawamura shuddered, “and your
hole looks absolutely gorgeous, sucking them in. Wish I was in you, baby.”
Sawamura mewled, teeth clamping down on his lip, and Miyuki flicked his wrist,
brushing a finger against his walls. The pitcher let out a pained sound, and
Miyuki continued, “Let me hear you. You want to please me, don’t you? I want to
hear every small sound – every breath, every moan, every cry from your throat.”
He almost cringed at the words that left his mouth, but the sound that spilled
from Sawamura’s lips more than made up for it.
“Senpai,” he said, looking up at him adoringly, and Miyuki swore at the dual
assault.
He bent, and gulped down Eijun’s cock. His throat worked around it, adjusting
to the girth, and he almost laughed. One wouldn’t have thought Sawamura had
that big of a dick. Miyuki’s was bigger – Kuramochi said it was due to his
personality – but it was still a pleasant surprise.
He couldn’t help mocking him for it though, and freely expressed his thoughts.
“Look how tiny you are, compared to me. I bet that’s why you’re a bottom,
because your dick is so small that you wouldn’t want anyone to fuck themselves
on it and be unsatisfied. No, you’d rather bounce on my cock as I hit all your
good spots.”
Sawamura garbled something, suspiciously sounding like ‘yes,’ and the catcher
bit his lip to stop from moaning.
He sucked Sawamura’s dick till it was completely wet, a mixture of precome and
saliva dripping down, all the way to his ass. He pistoned his fingers in and
out, and marked up Eijun’s thighs, a sick sort of glee welling up in him as he
watched the blood rise to the surface.
The pitcher was sobbing openly, hand thrown over his mouth, but it didn’t help
at all. His cries were escaping freely, bouncing around in the large room. In
fact, he’d only succeeded in becoming more of a mess, because his hand was
covered in his own drool, which kept getting spread on his face.
Miyuki traced his tongue around the marks, then travelled up, getting closer
and closer to his destination, till at last, when he was sure Sawamura wasn’t
expecting anything more (how far could Miyuki go, Eijun wanted to know), he
dove for the prize.
The pitcher almost screamed as his back arched up crazily, legs spread and
thrashing. He was quivering, sweat_flying_off_tangentially, and for a second,
Miyuki thought he almost came.
But no, he was just really overwhelmed, as was obvious with his mouth that
couldn’t shut itself, letting loose a string of moans as Miyuki swirled his
tongue around inside his hole.
How cute. He was right at the edge, and with Miyuki’s tongue finally in him, he
hoped to god that he could tip him over.
He nudged a finger against his tongue, wiggling the muscle around and making
way for it. He swirled his tongue around one last time, before he pulled away
and up.
He inserted three fingers again, seeking out the prostate now. He was at the
end of his patience too, and he wanted to see Eijun coming soon or he’d go mad.
Feeling around, he watched with keen eyes as Sawamura shook, and then –
“Hya!”
Eijun’s body undulated, and Miyuki laughed, delighted, at the curses that
spilled from those lips.
“My sweet little pitcher.”
“Ahn! Miy-yukiii, you basta-aah! Fu-ghh, stop it!” replied the pitcher,
followed immediately by, “please, more, senp-aii.”
For all that was holy, if Sawamura called him ‘senpai’ one more time, he’d fuck
him with his fingers so hard…
“Senpai.”
He wasn’t invincible.
He flipped Sawamura over, onto his knees and hands, ass high in the air and
shoved his fingers back in.
                                       *
Sawamura was shaking, sliding forward with every violent jab, and if that kept
up, he’d probably exhaust his tear supply. As it was, his eyes were hurting
pretty badly, and his whole face was sticky. Heck, who was he kidding? He'd die
before Miyuki let him come.
“Call my name.” the catcher said, growling as he twisted his fingers, thrusting
up right into Sawamura’s prostate.
Eijun whimpered, letting out a ‘Miyuki’ that was honestly indecipherable. He
didn’t have the capability to speak properly anymore.
Miyuki understood, though, “Not that. The other one.”
His other name? Ah! Did he want to be called by his given name? Sawamura could
do that, even though it was kind of embarrassing to say. But there wasn’t any
point of being shy, what with his ass at his senpai’s mercy. And said senpai’s
fingers in his ass.
He tried again, “Kazuyaa, uh, do something. Please.”
The next words made him shiver, Miyuki’s breath contrasting against the
temperature of his skin.
“Not that.”
A full-body shudder went through him as Miyuki flattened his tongue against his
hole again, and Sawamura wailed as he tried to think what his captain wanted.
Unable to think of anything, he laid his head on the ground, and turned to look
back at Miyuki, “I don’t know what you want, senpai. Just – please, please,
senpai, do something.” He confessed, hoping to god that Miyuki didn’t stop. He
shook his ass, shoving back on the fingers, trying to convince him.
“Fuck.”
Fingers gripped his cheeks insanely hard, and all of a sudden, Miyuki thrust
his entire tongue in him, right next to the fingers in his ass.
Sawamura quivered, mouth opening in a silent scream as hot fluid splashed
across his lower stomach and thighs and on the floor. His hands and legs,
unable to hold him up, gave out as he came.
                                       *
Sawamura was shaking pretty hard, and his skin was extremely cold. Miyuki was
pretty sure he’d sweated through half his body water. He soothed the boy,
humming softly as Eijun’s hands clutched at him. Rubbing his cheek against his
hair, he murmured soft words at him, praising him for being such a lovely,
beautiful person who’d let him do that.
He couldn’t walk, so Miyuki had to pick him up and and take him to the bath.
Settling down in the water, he slowly cleaned him up. He’d got come on his face
somehow – and yeah, Miyuki was still hard and needed to stop perving on
Sawamura – and he patted it down with his hand after removing the streak.
Fifteen minutes later, when he’d calmed Eijun (and himself) down and returned
him to his normal state, the pitcher spoke.
“Why did you ignore me?”
Miyuki sighed. He’d hoped Sawamura would forget that. “Because you wouldn’t
stop hopping around for others. Especially Mochi.”
Eijun was quiet for some time, before finally speaking, “Miyuki Kazuya… Were
you jealous? Of Kuramochi, of all people?”
“Shut your mouth if you don’t want me to spank you.”
Eijun mumbled something, and Miyuki tilted his head, “What?”
“I said, I wouldn’t really mind.”
Miyuki stared at him for a moment, before laughing his annoying laugh. “Maybe
another day. Right now I’m too tired to do anything.”
Sawamura grumbled, but didn’t say anything. He rose slightly, repositioning
himself on Miyuki’s lap (“wow, you’re hard” – “shut up and stop wriggling”) as
he rested his hands on his senpai’s shoulders.
“If Asou and the others eat the cookies I made for you, I am going to punch
you.”
Ah, the cookies that started this all.
“Excuse me? Why am I the one who should get punched? You’re the one who got so
dirty that I had to wash him.” Miyuki replied, smirking as he pinched
Sawamura’s waist.
“Oi, if you hadn’t been there, this wouldn’t have happened. You should have
just left me with them.”
“And risk letting them devour you?” Miyuki shot back as his hands started
wandering again, fingers trailing down the pitcher’s sides as he shuddered.
Eijun whined, squirming as he tried to get away from the teasing fingers, and
Miyuki gripped his waist to try and still him.
“Why do you always make it a point to provoke me all the time?” the catcher
smirked against his neck. “Do you like seeing me like that? Feel powerful?”
Miyuki laughed. The pitcher was right about the power thing, but he didn’t need
to know that. For now. “Deal with it. I love riling you up, and I will never,
ever stop.”
“Well, then maybe I need to rile you up sometime.”
The door suddenly banged open, and Miyuki lazily turned to look at who
interrupted them. Eijun had frozen up in his lap, so it was probably one of
their friends. Haruichi or Kuramochi or –
Kataoka stared back at him.
End Notes
...Sawamura never does find out about Miyuki's senpai kink. All he
knows is that Miyuki gets really turned on for no reason sometimes.
